We have partnered with Valle Sacchetta e Sacchettina s.a.s. to strengthen this commitment to environmental responsibility. This agricultural company, situated in the Venetian lagoon, prioritises sustainability in all its operations, actively seeking natural solutions to minimise its environmental footprint. One innovative approach they employ is the cultivation of microalgae—photosynthetic organisms that absorb CO₂ and release oxygen more efficiently than trees. This project beautifully blends innovation and nature, turning our environmental responsibility into concrete actions for a better future.
The CIMENTO® production facility operates on a 180 kW photovoltaic system, meeting up to 100% of its energy requirements. Any additional energy is sourced entirely from renewable options, ensuring a zero-emissions approach. Production follows a waste-free model, effectively recycling processing water and minimising casting waste. This not only reduces environmental impact but also optimises our use of resources.
