INTERNI CROSS VISION

EL PARON – WISTERIA TOWER

The sculpture appears as an imposing totem consisting of four stacked cubes that reach a height of 10 meters on a base of 2.4 meters.

The ‘see-through’ effect is achieved through the spray application of CIMENTO®, which confers a textural and ever-changing appearance to the grid. Through the imaginative use of CIMENTO®, Urquiola’s installation represents the intersection of nature and technology, artifice and environment.

Obtained from natural components, the material becomes the medium through which the fusion of tradition and modernity is manifested, highlighting the Italian ability to combine creativity and environmental responsibility. The work also pays homage to Venice and its cultural and artistic richness that can inspire the entire world.

Urquiola’s installation becomes the clear embodiment of the key themes proposed by INTERNI Cross Vision. “EL PARON” is a dialect term from Veneto that means “the master”, affectionately used to refer to a church bell tower, a tall structure that dominates the landscape. With this tender designation, reminiscent of St. Mark’s bell tower in Venice, the installation offers visitors an immersive visual experience.
